Candy Apple Salad

My grandmother gave me this recipe earlier today. I am not crazy about Apples, but loved this salad. I told my husband to hurry up and eat it before I eat too much. My grandmother told me it is like the candy apples at a fair, which I also am not crazy about, but this was the best salad ever! Hope you all enjoy.

Sangria by the Pros

Submitted by: PAULHAYWARD
I found a good sangria recipe and headed to the liquor store to purchase the alcohol. In line, ahead of me, was a man who said he has been a bartender for twenty years now, and that the recipe needed a few touch-ups if I wanted to make it like the Pros. So, here is what he professed to me, muchos thanks to the other submitters for their delicious versions.

I like to have this sweet, dark and hearty bread for breakfast or with afternoon coffee or tea. Try it thinly sliced and topped with cream cheese and a scattering of chopped dates.

This delicious pie is simple and so refreshing. Watermelon gelatin is mixed with a small amount of water and diced watermelon. The gelatin mixture is then poured into a graham cracker crust. This pretty pie is slipped into the fridge to chill for a few hours.

Orange Pie II

Submitted by: Christy Wilson
Softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and dry orange drink mix are beaten in a large bowl until combined. The filling is poured into a graham cracker crust and chilled for an hour. A snap to make and so refreshing, this creamy pie becomes even better with whipped topping and mandarin oranges.

Banana Brown Sugar Pancakes

This recipe I made because I wanted to use up some instant banana oatmeal I had. I don't use syrup on it because of the sweetness from the oatmeal and brown sugar.

My take on the classic Peruvian ceviche. The acidity of the citrus fruit 'cooks' the fish. A nice refreshing meal on a hot summer day. It's imperative to use only freshly caught fish!
