This was very easy and I loved the way it went into the pan. I baked the crust alone for a few minutes before adding topping. BUT the crust ended up very flat and gummy. What did I do wrong?

Quick & easy! Followed as written and tasted good. Next time will try adding some seasonings. This was my first time making any kind of dough from scratch and it's a good recipe to start with.

I feel that the proportions were off since the initial mix didn't have enough water. As I added in extra it got better, but the consistency and taste were still off. Definitely quick, but not too tasty.

This recipe is okay. It tastes pretty much like a quick bread rather than a yeast bread. I added garlic powder and italian seasoning. Also, I used 1 cup of whole wheat flour to replace 1 cup of all purpose flour. For a really Quick pizza, I would recomend this. For a really Good pizza, I think I will look again.

This is an easy pizza dough recipe. I recommend using a large pizza pan (14#) and really spreading out the dough to prevent the crust from being too thick. The 2nd time I made it I also spread olive oil on the crust which made it delicious!!

4 stars for the easy factor, but I wouldn't make this to wow someone. Its decent enough for a quick weeknight dinner though.

Very good. Added some garlic powder, didnt have basil by itself so i added some rosemary and thyme (dried not powdered), was told its the best ive ever made.(I also let the yeast double before adding it to the other ingredients cause i thought it would be gross if it didnt have time to activate) Thanks for the simple recipe-base.

super quick & easy & tasted great! we used olive oil instead of vegetable oil and added a little garlic powder to the mixture & it turned out perfect. the kids really liked making our own pizza dough & we doubled the recipe to have enough for everyone to make their own "personal" pizza.

Very quick. Very easy. Very tasty. I stuck to the recipe by the letter. The dough DID sit for a few moments while I prepared all the other stuff (grated cheese, etc.) so it cooked fluffy and crispy all at the same time.

The dough was quick and easy as the recipe states and looked great when it came out of the oven. My 5 year old son took his first bite asked if we were eating "Play Dough" pizza and I had to chuckle because that is how it tasted to me as well. Maybe I did something wrong, however, I will spend the extra time in the future on a quality dough.

Good, easy recipe. I dissolve the yeast in the warm water before adding the rest of the ingredients. I also prefer whole-wheat flour and I cook the rolled out dough for 10 mins. before adding the toppings and cooking an additional 10 or so minutes.

I took the time to proof the yeast and allowed the finished dough 15 minutes to rise. After I topped the pizza I let it rise an additional 15 minutes. My husband said it was the best crust I've ever made (and I've made A LOT).

Exactly what it claims to be. I literally realized last minute that the pizza dough I had was bad. The hubby really wanted pizza, so I looked this up and made it. It wasn't the best pizza dough ever, but it was extremely good considering the thyme (ha...pun...although I really did but some thyme in it) and effort involved. It was very simple and functional.
