I made these in a pinch because my son wanted to take some cinnamon rolls to work, and waited till the last minute to tell me. In his defense he had told me several days ago, but no reminder! So I looked this recipe up and made these. They are amazing, I didn't change a single thing at all about his recipe it was perfect as it was and a hit. Will make again and again!

OMG! So great. Very rich and moist. The frosting is an exact replica of Cinnabon's frosting. I'd like a recommendation on keeping the cinnamon/butter mixture from leaking out so much during baking. They didn't last long!

These tasted wonderful and looked amazing! These may even be better than cinnabon's, they were definitely more gooey and soft which is how I prefer my cinnamon rolls. This is definitely a keeper, I love this recipe! Thank you so much for sharing!

WONDERFUL recipe! I made this for a camping trip and they were great. I doubled the frosting but it was way to much. I also lowered the temp which worked but it needed to cook about 5-8 min longer than the recipe stated. Everybody loved but be prepared to eat some protein because there was a serious amount of sugar involved with these roll. YUMMY!

The dough is a pretty typical cinnamon roll. The frosting is delicious, but I actually prefer my other cinnamon roll recipe, so I will use IT with this frosting from now on.

SOO good! I put my dough on wax paper when I rolled-- Make sure you either spray (with non stick spray) or flour the waxed paper before- it will stick like crazy! Also, I tried the floss trick w/cutting it- but it didnt work for me. I ended up using a super sharp serrated bread knife and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

simply amazing! one thing i would suggest is when rolling up the dough, roll it really tight and then seal the edge with some water...that way it doesn't come apart when you're trying to cut the individual buns. mine were a little loose when going into the oven but they still came out tasty!

This is the first time I have ever made homemade cinnamon rolls, and let me tell you , this was time-consuming...BUT SO WORTH IT!! I will never buy cinnamon rolls again, these are 100 times better than any cinnamon roll i have ever had! Not difficult to make, and so moist and delicious when they come out of the oven. I don't have a bread machine so i went with a reviewers suggestion and dissolved a 7g packet of active yeast with 1 cup of warm milk and 1/4 cup sugar. I then added the rest of the ingredients, leaving the flour for last, and kneaded the dough by hand. Left it in the warm oven that i had turned on to 200 degrees and shut off immediately after the dough went in. Added the butter and brown sugar/cinn mixture to the flattened dough, rolled it up the long way, cut them into 12 pieces and let them rise for about 25 minutes in a 9x13 baking dish. Popped them in the oven on 400 degrees for 15 minutes and they were perfect! The only change I made was that i realized i didn't have any cream cheese so i added about 3 tablespoons of milk to the icing ingredients and it was delicious! Next time will def make sure i have cream cheese in the fridge so it will be even better. Thanks for a fantastic recipe, I wish i could give this 10 stars!

Awesome taste but very time consuming! Baked at 350 for about 25 mins. in a glass dish and immediately flipped over onto a waxed paper lined baking sheet when done (even used a spatula to scrape out what was left and put it back on top of the rolls). Oh and measuring and using dental floss to cut was a great idea. Thanks!

This recipe is sheer perfection. The dough is light and perfect in texture. I use king arthur's cinnamon filling along with a layer of butter on dough. The frosting is yummy. That is my only change. This is the only cinnamon bun recipe I will ever use. It doesn't get any better than this.

These are SO good. Delicious. Never again will I purchase cinnamon buns. I made these the night before and I fell asleep! the next morning, they are risen to the top of the machine. i thought they were ruined. Still, I rolled them out and baked them. Perfect. Turned out fantastic despite my efforts!!

These are wonderful! I lost track of time and slightly overcooked them and they were still incredible! I made them exactly as the recipe instructed except I did double the frosting and didn't make it in the bread machine. I followed others instuctions and kneaded the dough by hand then doubled the volume in a warmed oven. The frosting was to die for!

Much better than cinnabon, but still not our favorite homemade cinnamon roll. Definitely do line the pan and turn upside down, as the filling leaks out and makes a big sticky mess in the bottom of the pan. By inverting quickly, that is saved on the rolls.

I have made these twice, and they always turn out dry like all cinnamon buns I make! I dont know if its me or just the cinnamon buns, I want a STICKY, gooey cinnamon bun but cannot find a recipe. I usually add some corn syrup to the cinnamon mix, which runs to the bottom of the pan and when inverted creates a gooey outside.
