New Potatoes with Caper Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
This was VERY tasty and easy to make. I forgot the green onion, but don't think that my omission hurt the dish in any way. I had made double the recipe cuz we were having company, had leftovers, and pan-fried them in a non-stick skillet the next day for some parmesan hash browns. also VERY tasty. excellent and easy recipe. will go into my book

Eggless Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
This was a really great recipe and easy to make. I changed things around a bit as I didn't have all the ingredients so I left out the orange juice and sugar and used condensed sweetened milk instead.

Allison's Pasta Salad

This is my "go to" recipe for entertaining. Instead of bowtie pasta, I use fresh cheese filled tortellini....It's just fabulous. Everyone always asks for the recipe!

Veggie Pot Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
wow I was very surprised by this I normal don't like using vegetable broth in any recipe but this with the soy sauce it was the right amount of everything and the sauce tasted like beef broth. I used cauliflower, broccoli, peas, potato, carrots and Celery. and 4tbsp of cornstarch. I ate so much of this pie last night I could hardly move. and I had enough filling for 2 pies :-) going to have another slice now. Thanks for the recipe.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
made this last night since I was looking for a new use for the turkey carcass, other than the same old turkey noodle soup. This recipe is delicious, but I used a slightly different technique. After cooking/draining the carcass, I put all of the vegetables and rice in the broth and let them cook. When done, I added back in the turkey, a can of cream of chicken soup, and about 1/4 cup of gravy flour mixed in with water to thicken. Oh, and I put in a bay leaf when I'm cooking the carcass. This recipe has now replaced the old turkey noodle soup one. Very delicious!

I loved this quick recipe! I used boneless skinless chicken thighs and sweated the onions and browned the chicken first.

Onion Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
This was VERY good and quite easy to make. I did partially cook the sweet potato chunks in the microwave before tossing them with the oil and onion soup (to save time.) Will make this one again!
