About me:
I'm a stay at home mom and love cooking and show my son how to cook. I"ve always liked cooking and was always in the kitchen with my grandmother helping her out. As I continued to grow in the kitchen the more I liked it and decided that I would do it professionally, so I did. I was a cook till my son was born almost 2 years ago and now I stay home with him and cook for him and my husband.

I used pumpkin seeds instead of pinenuts. I also grated the apple the same as the carrot. I added about a tbsp of honey.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed on Aug. 8, 2008 by Jean Marie
I tried, unsuccessfully, to keep this very cold. I fould that by the time I could easily roll it, it was too warm to tranfer to the piepan. I will practice this one. I agree that it could use a touch of sugar.

Minestrone Soup I

Reviewed on May 6, 2008 by Jean Marie
The soup had a nice flavour. I used kidney beans and veggie broth. I didn't have any tomato paste, so I used a small can of tomato sauce. I also added peas and corn. Delicious!
