About me:
At the age of 17 I didn't have much experience with cooking for myself. My first job after highschool was a cooking position at a local diner. The experience paid off, and now I love to cook and one day soon become a career.

Broccoli Salad V

Reviewed on Oct. 6, 2008 by BRADYSMOM17
This turned out very well. I had eaten a similar salad at a family member's previously and wanted to make it myself. This recipe was as close as I could find, but it turned out even better. I made it for 40 people, with alot of other food, so most of my measurements were more by sight and taste, but with these ingrediants it turned out perfectly. This was the only item that had no leftovers at the 40 person event.

Scalloped Sweet Potatoes and Apples

Reviewed on Oct. 5, 2008 by lpcookie
This was SO yummy. It's a great way to serve yams in a different way. I only used 2 TBSP of brown sugar and used cinnamon b/c I don't like mace. The apples I used (GALA) are already sweet so you don't need to add more sweetness. It was so easy to make. There was nothing left after the potluck. I'm going to make this for Thanksgiving.

Chocolate Pretzels

Reviewed on Sep. 27, 2008 by fourpiesmama
Like some of the other reviewers, I couldn't find the circle pretzels. I used the square "waffle" kind. They turned out very cute and the kids loved to help. I am sure I will make these a couple times a year, they are really cute with holiday color m&ms. Right now was perfect for halloween mix m&ms, yum!
